Happy First Birthday To The Spaceman

The Spaceman

The Cumberland Spaceman website celebrates its first birthday today having been one year exactly since I started it.

In the year since the website started, Jim Templeton the man who took the famous Solway Firth / Cumberland Spaceman photo, died aged 91 on 03 November 2011. So closed the final chapter on the Spaceman legacy.

I’ll leave the articles up in the Solway Spaceman resource as it always makes interesting reading, especially as the sites namesake.

In other news, I jettisoned all of my Classic Doctor Who material to its own site classicdoctorwho.co.uk. Time permitting, I intend to develop this further but at the moment it is still a work in progress.

In the meantime I try to keep the Spaceman site ticking over with my convoluted ramblings on various subjects.

I enjoy reminiscing about Classic Retro gaming and my Classic Retro Gaming reviews can be found here.

I also enjoy other Sci Fi other than Doctor Who including : Red Dwarf & Classic Star Trek. My Classic Sci Fi profiles can be found here.

More earthly pursuits include Pond keeping and if you are interested in advice, you may find my beginners pond keeping guides useful.

Finally, I don’t get as much time to mess around with videos any more but my YouTube vids are here as a permanent reminder of a misspent Xmas snowed in 2 years ago.

So here’s to the first year and hopefully many more. Until next year.
