Another Tory Minister bites the dust with charges of impropriety being levelled at them.
Its not like the 90′s when Ministers were being outed as drug crazed, cocaine snorting prostitute frequenters every week, but every now and again these days, another one is shown up to be a right dirty bugger and pays with their job. No wonder the people have no respect for their Governments anymore.
Latest pantomime villian was Dr Liam Fox, Tory Defence Minister who seems to have given his ‘special friend’ Adam Werrity free reign to negotiate deals and setup his own company using Fox’s credentials and name to secure funds.
Werrity – who was Fox’s flatmate and best man, had been given access to the MOD and had met Dr Fox there 22 times and joined him on 18 overseas trips since he came to office last year – despite having no official role within the Tory government or officially working for Fox. He is now being investigated for fraud.
Meanwhile, ‘Occupy’ protests around the world were held today in major cities around the world as people came out against Government mis-management of finances and cutbacks.
Its hardly a coincidence that people are angry with their Governments at the moment. If the politicians of the world needed a rude awaking, then it is now.
