BBC news reports that a New Zealand Trucker called Steven McCormack 48, accidentally fell on an air hose on the back of his truck, piercing his buttock.
The air hose then began pumping air into his body blowing him up at 100 pnd per sq inch.
Colleagues who heard his screams and came to his aid, only to find him rapidly expanding were able to save his life by removing the hose from his buttock and laying him on his side till paramedics arrived.
Doctor‘s were later amazed that the pump had not seperated his organs.
Colleagues remarked that after removal of the hose, the air began to rush out at a tremendous rate and Mr McCormack began to deflate.
Later reports, linking Mr McCormack to a career in showbusiness as the new “Mitchellin Man” were not confirmed and completely just made up by me.
