Another colourful character from the glory days of WWF (now WWE) has died.
Savage reportedly had a fatal heart attack and crashed his car in Florida.
Savage whose ex-wife Elisabeth also died from a suspected drug overdose in 2003, was 58 years old.
It made Spaceman think back to his childhood when Wrestling was big in the 80′s & 90′s. One of my resounding childhood memories was Survivor Series ’92 when Randy Savage & Ultimate Warrior were scheduled to take on Ric Flair & Razor Ramone in a tag team grudge match.
But in a classic WWF Soap opera twist, Ultimate Warrior was replaced by the late Mr Perfect – Curt Hennig (Also died of a suspected heart attack in 2003). Who just happened to be Ric Flair’s soon to be ex-entertainment manager. Haw! haw! You couldn’t write this any better.
What a great matchup and a great Survivor Series. Ooooooohhhhh yeeeahhhh !!
wwf is so bad now not the like the glory years of the 90s,as a avid fan of wrestling i advise anyone to watch TNA wrestling ON SKY CHALLENGE TV really good stuff
